Choristers star in 2019 Woolies Ooshies Ad
The Woolies casting agents travelled to the Shire to audition students from the Sutherland Shire Children's Choir. The chosen group of singers recorded the 'Lion Sleeps Tonight' and star in the ad for Woolies ooshies. The singing was recorded at Songzu studios and filmed at Woolies Mascot! We are very lucky to be able to offer our students this professional work!
Emily shares the stage with Hugo Weaving 2019
Congratulations to Emily who was cast in the Sydney Theatre Company's production of 'Cat on a Hot Tin Roof'. She shared the stage with Hugo Weaving in this professional musical production!
Choristers record jingle for the 2018 'Big W' toy ad
Now and again, the Sutherland Shire Children’s Choir is asked to provide singers for professional work. These opportunities are always fantastic experiences for our students. This professional vocal recording took place at the state of the art '301 Studios', Alexandria and 'Rumble Studios' Chippendale. The jingle is the chorus from the Thin Lizzie song 'The Boys are Back in Town'. But instead singing 'The Toys are Back in Town’.
